Hello,

Is there any tool or trick to clean up duplicate orders and invoices? I tried to use the duplicate detection rule but it doesn't have these as records to clean up.

Please advise

    Hi Jay,

    Duplicate Detection is the best way to detect Duplicate records in CRM.

    1. First of all make sure that the Entity is enabled for Duplicate detection:

    Go to Settings > Customization > Customize the system > Click on the Invoice or Order entity

    Under Data Service make sure 'Duplicate Detection' option is checked.

    2. There should be a valid Duplicate detection Rule created for the specified Entities. Based on this rule the Duplicate detection job would detect duplicate records.

    Go to Settings > Data Management > Duplicate Detection Rule. Create a new duplicate rule and Publish it.

    3. Now run a duplicate detection job and you should be able to view your Duplicate records.

    Thanks for the reply. Do you know of any solutions that I can use to "clean up " or merge duplicate records?
