Token Validation error while POS shared Hardware Station paring

Hello experts,

we received an error today, while we tried to pair our iOS device with the shared hardware station. When trying to pair the app says "token validation error". 

The shared hardware station worked before with the setting and this device.

I was able to fix this issue by reinstalling the shared hardware station, but would like to understand where this error is coming from and if it is possible to fix it without reinstalling the shared hardware station.

    Hi Michael,

    Unfortunately I have two problems here:

    1. I / we don't know what you have done previously. Why do you need to pair it again? Can you please provide more details, in particular error messages, logs etc. Based on the information given we can only guess... While you try that, can other devices connect and use the shared station? (if not, restart the HWS-website within IIS - no need to re-install it)

    2. The iOS version of your device is completely build by your company, based on our SDK. So most probably noboy else will have exactly the same device as you have, which makes it even harder to reproduce the issue and find a solution to it.

    I have done a quick research in our case databse but wasn't able to find similar requests.

    Maybe someone from the community can help  because he or she resolved a similar issue already? 
    Or you can simply open a ticket with us in Support, but then please provide more details esp. in the form of server/error logs.

    Incase anyone else encounters this. In our case the issue was we had the hardware station installed pointing to the incorrect scale unit for that register.
