Connect to Dynamics365 from Azure Data Factory

Hi All

Apologies if this is not the right forum and feel free to redirect me if necessary.

We have a Business Central Dynamics 365 setup and we’re trying to use Azure Data Flow to connect to the Dynamics system and extract data. Trying to setup the linked server in ADF and I’m getting the below error. Not sure if it’s a configuration change which need to happen on Dynamics or something which I’m missing in ADF.

The below is the error I’m getting on testing the connection.

Input Payload is invalid, validation result - '[/Connector or activity name: Dynamics_Connector, connector or activity type: Dynamics, error: The domain of this endpoint is not in allow list. Original endpoint: 'businesscentral.dynamics.com'/]'

Service url: https://businesscentral.dynamics.com/xxxxxxxx-bxxx-xxxx-9xxx-xxxxxxxxx0/xxxxxxxxxxod
Authentication: Using my personal credentials.



Any hints would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi, as far as I know, this standard Connector is used by CRM (Sales, customer service, etc.). For BC, you need to use Odata or API to connect.
     
    Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.
