User is unable to see saved personal views for any entity

Hello,

We have a case here where a user is unable to see saved personal views.

I have seen the user create the personal view, and save it with a name.

The user goes back to the entity and can see the saved personal view.. however after they click out of the entity and go back.. the saved view is gone.

The user goes to "saved views" and the view is not there. (even after just creating and saving the view)

I am able to create and save personal views and it works like it should. The user has the same permissions as I do. (admin)

I have also shared a personal view with them, and they are unable to see it.

Yes I have changed the views in the advance find window to make sure I am looking in the right place.

Has anyone seen this before?

I faced the same problem.  Do you have a solution?

The only thing I can think that would make the view disappear like that is if the user somehow does not own the view.  Maybe have the user try creating the view and share it with you and some other users.  If your user still can't see the view after navigating away from the entity and back, see if you and the other users it was shared with can see it.  That might provide some additional clues.

    Hi Tiong,

It was CRM Online, I had to contact Microsoft. They had to do something on their end to resolve the issue.

    Sorry, am new to CRM.

May I know how to contact Microsoft on this matter and is the service free?

    Hi Tiong,

    You can go to: mbs.microsoft.com/.../CRMSupport

There is instructions on how to open a case for CRM Online. I was not charged for the case as MSCRM is supposed to function this way. I am with a Microsoft Partner so I do not know if there will be a service fee/charge for you opening a case.

I'm having the same issue and just called MS tech support. Is there anything in particular I should mention?

Mine is CRM Online.  After telling them the problem, they checked at the back end and depends on the problem, they will tell you what to do.

For On-Premise, Disable the user and Re-enable them.  This worked for us.  It looks like it could tie to importing the users instead of creating them through CRM interface.

we just had this for a single user too.  same group membership as all other members that could see views shared to the group but he could not.  disabled/re-enabled his user account.  problem solved.  Thank you!
