Hey I am relatively new to using dynamics gp and management reporter.  We have some basic reports here at work, but i love building technical reports that show some very useful information.  I just created one comparing revenues by dept for the last 3 months so we could quickly look to see if it was entered and any variance.  Just as a quick check and balance.  Anyone have any great reports that they would like to share or even send me resources to check out.  I was on frxbuzz but I am not looking to pay money to learn how to build a report with the vastness of the internet.  And my company wont buy them.  

Anyone know any idea how to create a balance sheet reconciliation in dynamics gp?

Starting balance, any txns that took place in the account then ending balance?

    Chris, sounds like you're looking for a GL Trial Balance.  The MR report wizard will walk you through the steps to create one.  I don't have MR on this machine and off the top of my head don't recall the navigation path to the wizard.  Check the menu items in MR and you'll find it.

    Frank thanks for the reply... I will take a look into that to see if that's what i am looking for.  Any other good reports that you wow clients or executives with...

    have you looked the Report Wizard under Tools which will gives list of reports which you can create.

    I have not.  Right now our organization is tight on cash and I am just trying to give them valuable reports so that we can set a plan to move forward.  We are a non profit primarily medicaid funded and with all things they are cutting back.

    You can join for free - access to resources is more limited with a freebie membership but there's still tons of valuable info for you there.

    There are also tons of you tube videos out there that show you have to build MR reports.  For free.
