Scanner recommendations for A/P

Hi

Are there any preferred 3rd party vendors that provide this for GP?  What we are looking for is really a way to scan invoices and tie it back to GP payables data.  We considered looking into a barcoding scanner and manually attaching pdf scanned invoices and approvals to GP.  Is there a better way?

    We have a number of clients using Kwiktag on GP and SL.

    The company I work for uses Integration Manager to upload 100+ invoices a week and then I created an add-in which batch attaches the invoice files to each invoice. The difference I guess is that we already have the invoices in PDF format so I'm not sure how much effort it would be for you to format your data in the way we have it. My add-in requires vendor id, document number, and the file path of the file you wish to attach and is run from the Document Inquiry windows from within GP. It uses Sanscript/Continuum to essentially execute the commands you would perform if you were attaching manually, just faster.

    This assumes you are at least on R2 as the document attach feature has changed as of that update. I developed this for our company so I have not tested it with any other configurations so if you want to try it, please do so in a test environment first.

    Our consultant did mention kwiktag.  We were planning to setup a demo with them shortly but also wanted to see what were some of the competitors.  I'll keep looking.
