I am using CRM online trial instance. I am getting the below error when i am trying to do advance find or clicking on lead tiles. I am getting this error for new instance as well.
The requested record was not found or you do not have sufficient permissions to view it.
Security Group: Not set

So you mean you have assigned System Administrator role , so can you please go to user and see which security role you have assigned .
In addition try to do Promote to Admin.
Thanks for your response. I am default admin on the instance.. I created a new instance now. Its giving same error.

What is your security role, do you know if you have sufficient permission, are you getting this only when doing this operation not other then it means you are missing some specific privilege. Make sure you have proper permission on lead entity. Also not sure this will help but try to login with other browser and see if you are getting the same error or not.
