Just started getting an error message on HQ Client:
"The code execution cannot proceed because MPACLIENTEX.DLL was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling but still getting the error.

Thanks for your reply Todd. It ended up being an issue on the HQ Server side. Just had to exit and restart the service (should have tried that first!). Thanks again.

Prior to this error occurring, was any software installed, removed or updated?
Do you see the MPACLIENTEX.dll file on the machine if you search?
NOTE: On my machine, the this file MPACLIENTEX.dll related to HQ Client is in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Retail Management System\Headquarters Client folder. However, there is another instance of the MPACLIENTEX.dll file in the Store Operations folder.
What software did you uninstall and reinstall?
What version of RMS is installed?
For example, 2.0.2023

Just a note that Mainstream support for Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0 ended on July 10, 2016; and extended support ends on 7/13/2021:
support.microsoft.com/.../search
This is less than 9 months from now; and you can continue using RMS after this date but technical support will not be available.
I would recommend checking with your partner in regard to what they may recommend as a replacement system after the extended support end date.
