How to remove duplicate records in CRM

Hi All, 

In opportunity enity some records are duplicate. So how I can identify thoes records and delete it in bulk. Records were created from workflow.

In opportunity detect duplicate is enalbled but it is not working.

I looked in Data Mangement --> Detect duplicate rule  it didnt worked.

I also in data management --> Duplicate system jobs but in this I cant add more fields so that i can sure these are duplicate records.By default 5 opportunity records are showing.

Kindly Suggest .

    Hi,

    The OOB Duplicate Detection Rules only detect duplicates generated on UI and on platform level. So, when duplicate records are generated using the workflow, the duplicate detection rules are ineffective.
    But no worries!
    I will recommend using a deduplication solution, which can help you detect duplicates regardless of where they were generated from.     I run the duplicates jobs but it has limited number of coloumns

    Hello,

    Just FYI duplicate detection works in UI and on platform level if "cehck for dups" flag is set in request. When record is created using workflow - this flag is not set.

    I would recommend to run duplicate detection job and deliver results to email. After that you will have to go through results and manually delete records.
