how we can map item price group with products.

Hi all,

I am going to create vendor trade agreement based on group of items, so i defined a item price group called "limit" from trade agreement like below.

so i am confused how to link products to this "limit" price group. because for vendor and customer price groups, system gave the option on vendor and customer cards to select price groups under purchse order and sales order tabs but there is no such option available for products.

Hy Afazal,

you just need to assign the item price group at the items master data on the fasttab "Sell".

I am considering the item price group association with items, but as u suggesting, it was for item discount group relation with item discount group in item master data.

I have a item price group called "Limit", when I opened line discount group field on item card, it shows only the item discount group not item price group.

when i opened the item price group from trade agreement lines, there is an option to setup items but that is disable, any clue ...

Hy Afazal,

you can assign items only price discount groups.

Price groups (in $ or €, ...) for items are not supported, as it makes only sense if all items belonging to an item price group have the same sales price. Is this your requirement?

What do you want to do with the item price group?

Yes you are right, i have a requirement to have a same purchase and sale price for group of items.

Hy Afazal,

this can not be done with a item price group.

The challange is to bring either all items in a trade agreement or to get any filter to slect all itmes.

This is a one time job.

Once you have all items with some price in a trade agreements (one for for sales and one for purchase) you can set purchase or sales prices using "price regulation" feature within the trade agreement lines. This way you can set all items to the some price (sales or purchase).
