Post Expense to multiple values within same Dimension

i receive a company phone bill that includes all employees. The employees are spread out into different cost centers. Is there a way to post one expense into different cost centers?

you could use allocation from recurring general journal for this purpose.

Hi Jun,

In your example you are using different GL posting accounts. The same GL account would have to be used. The only difference would need to be the cost centers.

if so, you could create dimension values for different cost centers. when posting just post each amount to different cost center. in the example, the dep code is set up as dimension, they all post to the same account
