What is the Data Management Entity used for item model group

Hi,

Does anyone know what is the entity used by the system (D365 FO) to transport item model group setup  ? When I run a copy to legal entity feature, this setup is correctly deployed from sourc ecompany to the target one but when I'm searching in data entities inventory the related entity, I found nothing... In the legal entity comy feature, does Microsoft did "hard code" to copy some setup not managed via data entities ?

    Hi Lionel,

    Please check the entity "InventCostFlowAssumptionPolicyEntity". It has InventModelGroup as its sole data source.

    May be the copy feature works differently . I don't see any entity for table InventModelGroup. You can try to debug copy legal entity feature by putting breakpoints in DMFCompanyWriter class copyCompanyData method.

    Have you checked the entity "Item model group inventory policies"

    Very confusing because oyu have "model" in the entity name but the item model group is not part of target fields.. So I don't think this entity is the right one.

    Hi Lionel,

    I think you will have to use both InventCostFlowAssumptionPolicyEntity and InventInventoryPolicyEntity. Please export and check the data.
