How to enable Posts in Custom Entity?

Hi everyone,

In CRM 2013, I created a new entity and want to activate the Posts in the Social Pane, I can only see the activities and Notes. When I check the Post Configurations, my entity didnt in the list. So I think that's why I cant activate it.

Does anyone know how to put my custom entity to the post configurations?

Thank you very much,

    Hello,

I tried creating a new entity n my test CRM 2013 lab and as you mentioned, the Posts in the Social Pane was not activated. So I went to Settings > Post Configurations and my entity was visible there. I didn't do anything extra for it to show up there. I highlighted the entity..Activated the Posts and Published customizations. I works now.

Could you double check if your custom entity is there under the Post Configurations view?

    Regards,

    Rajesh. R.

    Hello,

Thank you for checking the problem. As you can see here, I have 2 entities tickets. I created 1 in my solution and 1 in the default solution. But nothing shows up in the post configuration. Do you have any idea about this ?

    Thank you very much,

Silly questions, but... are your entities Custom Activity types? Have you published all customizations?

    Hi,

Something I noticed in the screenshot up there. Did CRM upgrade from CRM 2011 to 2013?

    Regards,

Same problem - upgrade from 2011 - 2013. Cannot see newly created entities in the post configuration list and cannot enable record walls for any entities we've created after the update.

    Any workarounds?

Hi there, I created 4 custom entities weeks ago and am having the same issue: the custom entities do not show up in the Post Configurations view.

I created this organization a month ago using CRM Online.

    Thanks!
