I am not seeing the option to "Follow" records from within the tablet or mobile apps. Is this a mobile limitation?

Anybody know? If this is the case does anyone have an idea of how to add the Follow feature to the mobile app?

The option to follow records is not available yet in CRM Mobile app.
That is a good opportunity for product improvement, if you want you can submit this as a product suggestion to Microsoft Product team.

as Giselle mentioned, this feature is not available in the mobile app.
If this is something you'd like to have, take a look at Resco Mobile CRM client for MS Dynamics, which offers the functionality to follow records, discuss, attach documents, etc.
