    Hi Akanksha

You might refer to this method (old but still applicable as far as I know).

    blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../how-to-enable-an-entity-to-use-activity-feeds-solution

Let me know if that works

    Hi Henry,

    Thanks for your reply.

I guess the feature of adding a new entity has been depreciated.

Hi again Akanksha, I think you still can:

Go to "Post Configurations" and click the custom "refresh" button to see all entities (including custom ones).

You should now see new entities in the list.

If that does not work, you can also try this:

    1. Go to your CRM URL */main.aspx?etn=msdyn_postconfig&pagetype=entityrecord&newWindow=true
    2. Fill-in the entity system name (exemple: new_entity)
    3. Save
    4. Activate

    Hi,

Can you check who the owner of the Activity has been set. If the owner of the activity is not equal to current user (logged in User) then you may not have the rights/permission to view the activity record.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure it has anything to do with activity feeds & posts (which are different from regular activities)

I suggest you ask your question in a new thread

    Hi Henry,

Activities is disabled in the Entity Definition for that particular entity, and its an OOB entity, so post configurations are also not enabled for it.

I have checked the Post Configuration list after refresh, and its not available for the entity.

    Thanks
