If we try to merge Cases it is possible to select resolved cases.
Both appear in the merge dialogue.
In Legacy UI it is not possible to merge resolved cases. If i select resolved cases in legacy ui, the merge dialogue will not display this cases.
In addition to that in modern ui I am able to select more than one record.
After selecting more than one record i will get an notification after clicking merge.
In legacy ui this validation is already in the dialouge. Can you anyone tell me why the validation has changed?

I don't have an answer as to why this is now behaving like that. A lot of the legacy web client features have been redeveloped for the Unified Interface, and in some cases the behavior isn't strictly identical between the two clients.
