Hello,

Am trying to read a directory using jobqueue (BC Onprem)

AL project Target is set to Internal.

My code is as below.

DirectoryPath := '\\Raju-pc\Importfolder';

FileMgmt.GetServerDirectoryFilesList((VAR NameValueBuffer ;DirectoryPath).

Am Geeting Below Error

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Server attempted to issue a client callback to create a DotNet object: System.IO.Directory (CodeUnit 419 File Management). Client callbacks are not supported on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Server

    means the function call causes a confirmation window, which can not be shown...no gui.

    seems that the user who calls the function has not enough access rights.

    try with a domain admin user or set the correct folder rights.

    Thanks for the Reply,

    I knew that function calls are not allowed in a job queue.

    But in my case my folder is shared with everyone(Read write permissions).

    I am not sure whether we can use file Management codeunit for background process in Business central.

    If not, what are the workarounds  for file management Codeunit.
