Multiple users using the same data

Hi,

I am trying to set up multiple users to access CRM (only 3 of us) however it appears when they login with their domain account, it creates a new set of data in crm. How do i configure the package so that all users access the same set of leads, orders etc.

Thanks,

In the security roles assigned to each user, make sure Read permission on all the core entities is set higher than User - that would only allow a user to see records they are the owner of. Also make sure when you are viewing grids of records, you change the drop down from something like "My Active Contacts" to "All Contacts" - the would some only records the current user owned.

    Thanks Jason,

I have all users configured as system administrators. and all have full read write permission (Same as my user which works)

THe accounts in question show with myself as the owner however other users cannot see these accounts (I assume because I am the owner)

    Thanks,

Silly question, but are the other two users set up in the same Organization as you? (meaning, in the same tenant as yours).

Yep. We only have one organisation of which all users are assigned

Hmmm, and the System Admin User Role was placed on their System User record, not say, a Team?

I know these are "duh" questions, but trying to rule out all possibilities.

Also check that you are not using the default views: My Accounts, My Contacts, etc. These will only show records owned by the logged on user. Either the system administrator can change the default view for each entity to Active Accounts, Active Contacts, etc. or each user can change their own default view for each entity.

Thats exactly it Neil. Thanks! I didnt realise I there was a dropdown next to My active accounts. Once I select all accounts I can see everything. Is there a way to default all views to this state? otherwise I will have to go through all secitons and set the default view.
