CRM 2013 - 2015 compatibility with Firefox and Chrome

Hi,

According to the Microsoft compatibility matrix, CRM 2013 and 2015 are both compatible with Chrome and Firefox. I am a little worried about this as we were once told that these two browsers will not work properly now due to the issues faced with the Modal dialogue boxes. Can anybody shed any light on if this is still an issue as we are not certain whether we can tell clients if Chrome and Firefox are fully compatible?

Thanks,

    Hi,

The problem of modal dialog is still there but only if you are calling modal dialog within your javascript code. For ms code things are working fine.

    1984,

I use firefox and Chrome seems ok.

I got a problem only when I have iframe to my custom .NET, using Chrome or firefox didn't work, but I suspect it is also the compatibility of our custom.NET.

The Modal dialog and pop up so far there is a fix for this and my users never encounter the issue again.

Maybe it is form editor issue (for example change the label or visibility using form editor), sometimes still got issue.

    Thanks

Firefox seems to be working consistently  compare to IE and Chrome. Modal dialogue issue has been resolved and it works fine in all browser now. I see issues only when i try to customize the system using chrome browser sometime. But as per end user usability chrome and firefox both works without any issue.

    Hi 1984,

Firefox and Chrome are very much compatible with CRM 2013 and 2015.

You can refer the compatibility options via,

    support.microsoft.com/.../3005167

    support.microsoft.com/.../3018360

Currently CRM has issues with Modal Dialogues using Chrome which is being worked upon.

I have a user who since yesterday 13/09/17 cannot add columns to an view in CRM, when they try to add columns the dialog box which should contain a list of columns is empty. Could this be down to an update to firefox? We are running CRM 2013.

    Hi guys,

We facing the same problem. We are using Dynamics CRM 2015 (7.0.1.129). Our vendor told us to install the lastest release Update 0.3 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 in order to have this fixed.

Is anyone using version 7.0.3.0109 and facing this problem?

We also noticed this using Mozilla.

    Thank you!
