Showing all vendors in purchase requisition for requestor

Hey,

does anyone know if there is any way for the requestor of a purchase requisition to be able to choose out of all the vendors for his purchase requisition lines using items?

I know that you can make several vendors selectable by either setting one in the item master, in trade agreements or item coverage or for procurement categories. However my customer needs to be able to choose out of all vendors when using items in purchase requisition lines.

That is why I'm looking for a possibility to choose out of all of them.

I would be thankful for any help.

    Hi NaVo,

    Via the Purchasing policies, you can set if there should be a filtered or unfiltered list. The 'Category policy rule' option can be used to allow for all vendors per category node.

    Could you provide detailed instructions on how that would be possible?

    I created a purchasing policy with the category policy rule, but that only seems to apply when using procurement categories in the purchase requisition. However when using Items, you are still unable to choose from all vendors.

    Hi NaVo,

    My bad. I was misreading your question. I thought it was related to procurement categories. About the vendor lookup for items, there is no configuration option. It will then only look at the primary vendor, cheapest vendor and purchase agreements. You can consider a customization to show all vendors in the lookup.
