Auto-Populate data into a calendar?

Was wondering if there were any capabilities in CRM to auto-populate data into a calendar? Each year, I manually enter events into a PowerPoint document to help us keep all of the information readily available to us. I wasn't  sure if I could somehow populate a calendar to include all the events in the current year into a calendar of types?

    Hi!

    First you must create new entity (ex: new_calendar) with attributes Event Name (string can be default field name of entity) and Event Date (datetime).

    After this - create your events in CRM.

    You need also a report (you can use crm standard wizard to create them).

    So, as result you can run report for custom dates (you can set start date and end date in default filter of report) and generate it in word/pdf/excel...

    Hi,

    You can create a resault in the report which you wish.

    You can use others libraries and JS for adding new_calendar entities like in the outlook.

    Could the entity look and feel like a calendar by chance?  Or could the report have the look and feel like a printed calendar?  If so, how?

    Hi,

    You can create a custom Entity (ex new_calendar) add your required fields (ex new_Date, new_Name, new_Description..) after you can add your events in this entity. Create your Report and add your fields in it.

    How would this be a report?  I would first need to input the entries into a calendar of some sort, correct?

    Hi!

    This is a custom report.

    You need to create a report according to your criteria and the calendar. Then generate this report every year in word/pdf format.

    i don't see why not since each time you update the actual start throughout the year, it would continue to wait till 12 months later
