Buying objects about Add Ons

Hello all,

I have a question regarding buying objects about solutions developed by our company.
If we develop a solution, for example in our case one about the HR and Payroll module, how does it work in the aspect of buying objects that are used for development?

Do the end clients have to buy objects each and every time we sell the solution, or is it possible that we buy the objects one time and they do not need to buy them?

How does it work?
Thank you.

Hi, it depends on the scope of your ObjectID and the version your customer is using (SaaS or On-Premises)

To put it simply, if you are using 50,000-99,999, this is the free range in SaaS, and you do not need to purchase the Object range, but the On-Pre version needs to be purchased, which is the same as in NAV.
If you are using 70,000,000-74,999,999, apply for the Object range with Microsoft in advance, and then if the extension is published in AppSource, you can make it free in the On-Pre version through the application form. (When applying for Object range, you can consult the person in charge of Microsoft)

PS: in addition to Object Range, the On-Pre version also needs to pay attention to a new problem

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.

I think it is dependent on the specific requirements and agreements between your company and your clients.
