Synapse link Stopped working

I had implemented synapse link & was running perfectly until recent we had a data refresh from the different environment., Now the syanpse link has stopped working & there is no solution yet provided by Microsoft. Has anyone else faced the similar issue?

Hi,

In your screenshot, you show F&O entities. Are there also tables from Dataverse included? If so, do they also give errors? Was Synapse also set up for the source environment from where you copied the data? Have you checked for details of these errors?

My feeling is that you can solve the issue by removing the tables and entities from the Synapse link and recreating the setup. It will then re-initialize all tables and then continue with incremental feeds based on data changes.

relinking all the tables which are close too 250+ is a tedious job & what if the same issue occurs every time the environment is refreshed? Relinking all the tables again & again is not an ideal solution. The errors says the Synapse link table is paused. I was hoping there are some scripts which I can run to re initiate the tables?

Hi,

At this moment, there is no script to refresh the synapse workspace. You can filter the tables by providing a list. That can speed up enabling the tables again.

You can try to export the solution containing Synapse link configurations, remove the tables, and import the solution again.

Microsoft is considering options to provide better tools to support database restore options and refreshing of the data in a particular way.
