Sales Order Reporting

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Good Morning,

Is anyone able to tell me please if there is a way to run a report or filter to show all sales orders raised per day? We like to run off a report on a daily basis of new orders raised, but if as is often the case, the order is received, shipped and invoiced in the same day the sales order will disappear from the sales order screen.

It feel like a simple requirement just to show all sales orders, whatever status, by date.

I've checked the sales order archive screen but we only seem to have about 7 in there, so I figure that would have been ones we have actively set to archive as opposed to an area where all completed sales orders go.

Any help always gratefully received.

Thanks,

Amy

Archiving can be done automatically. Check the sales & receivables setup page. “Archive Quotes and Orders”

If the data is not static then a report is tricky. If the archive table can capture all the details you stand a better chance on achieving your requirement. Other thing is a report already exists that you can use this way - Archived Sales Orders.

Thank you! We have set this up so hopefully they will start archiving from now.
