Making column lines fit perfectly on invoices in Report Wrtier- Help!

So, my new annoyance is working in Report Writer and trying to move column lines/grid lines (sorry, i'm not sure of the proper term here). Every time i move these, my invoice lines do not match up - even though they look perfect on the editing screen! I'm wondering if there is a trick to aligning everything correctly that i'm missing out on? Here's a screenshot of what i'm talking about.
