GP9 SP4 Supported with sql server 2008 R2?

I have GP 9 with SP2. I am wondering that to move dynamics database to sql server 2008 R2 , do i need to upgrade to GP10 or GP9 SP4 is comptaible with SQL Server 2008 R2?

Not only is GP 9.0 not supported with SQL 2008 (with or without R2), but some of the functionality will actually not work.

Not it is not, not even GP 10.0 without Service packs
