Hi All,

Is there any option to remove the stock transaction from the subledger form in D365. If so kindly advise to do the needful.

Thanks in advance,

Naveen

    Hi,

If you mean delete, the it is not possible. You can always make reversals of QTY movement using inventory journals

    Hi Naveen,

Can you elaborate? Do you only want to remove voucher transactions? If so, what business problem are you trying to solve?

    Hi Andrew,

I am trying to clear up the stock report and have found that there are the below stock balances sat against Warehouse locations GB01 and GB52 which both relate to the old site which is no longer in use and have been here since 2018:

We have tried to stock adjust/write off the items in the usual way on D365 but it cannot be done as the system is recognizing that there are 0 pieces in stock available, despite showing up on the stock ageing report, I think because there are some ghost lines on D365.

Even if there is a way of closing down the Warehouses GB01 and GB52 as they should never be used again.

    Thanks,

    Naveen

    Hi Naveen,

If there is an on-hand quantity of 0, but there is still a financial amount, you would need to run the inventory closing job and then check if the financial amount has been adjusted. This is a task that should run periodically when you have a costing method FIFO, LIFO or weighted average.
