Installing MS Viva Sales. Unable to??

Hi,

I'm trying to install MS Viva Sales to Dynamics 365 CE.   

We work with both the Sales and Marketing applications.  Have the appropriate licenses.

I'm using my admin account which also covers Exchange.

When I load the Viva application I get this message for deploying it to Outlook

The issues I can't understand is when I open OWA for my admin account I can see the Viva Sales add on

I've tried to add the permission to my test account but it won't let me set Read, Write, etc... for User
For Security role Viva Sales User or Viva Sales Administrator?  The Member's privilege inheritance 'Teams privileges only' is greyed out??

    Hi,

    Integrated Apps requires that the admin has Global Admin or Exchange Admin permissions, and the Viva Sales for Microsoft Outlook need Global Admin role.

    Please check that if your account have the "Global Administrator".

    Thank you for your response

    My admin account as Exchange Administration and Teams Admin privileges, not Global Administration 

    Why is Viva Sales displaying for my Admin account?

    Today (16/03) had a Teams call and noticed in the tabs a Dynamics 365 icon. When selected it required this to be activated??

    So to get this activated for the specific users I will require to request Global Admin for my admin account.  

    Will only people with a D365 user licence be able to access Dynamics if I select all organisation in set -up??

    Hi,

    Maybe your administrator of your organization remove the deployment of viva sale.

    Then even if you remove it, you can still see the icon on your outlook.

    User need a D365 user licence to access Dynamics app.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your advice.

    I'll wait and see what happens when I get Global Admin privileges and can deploy Viva Sales to Outlook.

    I assume it will work the same as Outlook for Dynamics?? Only those that have a license for Dynamics will be able to access Dynamics even though the icon will display on every ones Outlook??
