Say I have 2 items in my item list with these item descriptions: Red Box Large and Blue Box Large. If I filter on item description and type in /box/ in Nav, it will show me both items. If I do the same thing in BC, I get no results and have to enter @*Box* to get the same results. Is there any way around this, or is just a BC pain users have to live with?
Nav filtering seems to work like the BC search does, just on a specific field....which our users prefer.

Hi, not sure what your question is, using Search and Filter are both valid in BC.

@YUN ZHU in Nav in the Filter I can type in just box no special characters. I am wondering if now in BC we must input the special characters into the filter like you have below *Box*. I know that I can type in just box to the Search, but that searches across all columns which does not give the desired results of only looking at one field.

Hi, if you mean the filter in the upper right corner, this usage is similar to Search in BC. And the field must be specified in the NAV before it can be queried.

There is no such restriction in BC, and the values in other fields can also be searched out.

In addition, the filter in NAV is the same as that in BC. If you only enter Box, there will be no results.
