Consignment replenishment orders

Hi all,

Im setting up Consignment process for a client. Once they have receipted the goods on the consignment replenishment order, and a production order is placed for those materials, do you need to transfer ownership before the materials can be consumed in production? Or can the production order consume materials that are owned by a vendor?

Just trying to figure out when the transfer journal should be created, what's the best practice

Hi, you can consume consignment inventory into production order without ownership change. Once it is consumed, you can easily generate inventory ownership change journal lines for consumed items using "Functions/Create journal lines from production orders"

Hy Antigonie,

in production order juts go to View menu, Journals, then Picking list. From Menu select "Picking list" and then "Create lines".

This will create a new picking list and insert all Bom lines from your production.
