Direct bank connections (without file import)

Evaluating Dynamics BC and as far as I can see the software doesn't currently offer automatic bank connections in the UK. From what I can gather this used to be present (not sure about this).

This seems to be a fairly major gap in the functionality of the software. Everyone else seems to offer this features (for the smaller systems at least) and if you have ever used it, it is extremely convenient.

Does anyone know if this is planned, and when? Does anyone know if there is a (good) reason why the systems doesn't offer this feature?

As always any help or insights are appreciated.

    Hi,

    A lot of companies use AMC Banking for this requirement with Business Central. AMC Banking are constantly enhancing their offering as host-to-host connection seems to be a growing requirement with various banks.

    Also, it may be a good idea to give a search in AppSource for some available apps for Business Central.
