Computer Telephony Integration in MS CRM ?

I have been trying to find out the best ways of doing the CTI(Computer Telephony Integration) with CRM, I have found USD but after looking in to it I am not sure,  will it provide full support for CTI inbound and outbound calls or not. It never says clearly anywhere or I am failing to find it. 
For inbound calls you need to have a subscription of the notification with the server. 

What is the best way to go? Using USD or any other method?

    Hi Waqas

    USD does provide CTI integration for the CRM and Cross Application interface, which is also great for call scripting but remember that depending on the Phone system further development and configuration will be required, the CTI will not work straight out of the box. There are CTI integrations available purely for telephony and screen popping developed by 3rd parties, or you could develop your own, some are web based and some will require you to develop a windows desktop agent to work with your PBX and pop your CRM.

    Hey Waqas! You may opt for USD but that won't work right off the box, especially with phone system integrations. You may want to explore a customized CTI or you can get a third-party vendor like Tenfold, which has over 210 integrations available including MS Dynamics.

    Both inbound and outbound calls are recorded, logged, and monitored. It also works with your existing systems so no need to switch to a different CRM or a different phone system just to dissolve compatibility issues. Kinda like a straightforward software that can help improves the way things work in your organization.
