FA acq cost balance account

Does anyone know what this column is for?

I assume it automatically assigns the GL account to the balance account when acquiring a fixed asset but in FA GL journal, the acquisition balance account remains blank.

Its used when you use the Fixed Asset Reclassification Journals to reclassify the acquisition cost of one asset to another asset and you select the Insert Bal. Account option. The balancing account in the journal lines created will be the Acquisition Cost Bal. Acc.
