Windows Phone App + CRM Online + O365 + ADFS 3.0

Hi, I working on a CRM Online project and the client wishes to test the mobile app. They use windows phones and have CRM Online O365 with ADFS 3.0 and Directory Sync.

The Android app on my phone works fine but when trying to login from a windows phone we get

"oops
Unknown Error

Press the Back button and try again"

It looks like a problem with the redirection to the ADFS login page. On the first attempt It try's to redirect but reverts back to the standard login. Then on the second attempt we get the error.

All help appreciated.

Ollie

Have a look at these links and see if you can track down the issue.

    Thanks for the reply Donna.

I had already gone though these and couldn't find anything directly related to my issue.

The behavior I am expecting is that after entering my username it should redirect to the organisations STS/ADFS login page. It does this in the web browser (desktop and phone) and in the android app. But fails in the windows app :-(

    Thanks

    Ollie

I've also come across this problem and have found the following on the Internet which I've added to the ADFS farm but it has not solved the problem.

    "Add-AdfsClient -ClientId ce9f9f18-dd0c-473e-b9b2-47812435e20d ` -Name "Dynamics CRM Mobile Companion" ` -RedirectUri ms-app://s-1-15-2-2572088110-3042588940-2540752943-3284303419-1153817965-2476348055-1136196650/, ms-app://s-1-15-2-1485522525-4007745683-1678507804-3543888355-3439506781-4236676907-2823480090/, urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob"

Does the Windows Phone Dynamics CRM client support ADFS and SSO?

Ok, Now I feel silly! Today I thought I would take a couple of the test handsets home to have a play, and guess what! It works. So it looks like it may have something to do with the configuration of the wireless network at the clients site.

Once we figure out the solution I'll try and remember to post it here...
