Duplicate Detection Job creation - Security Role creation

I'd like to create a Security Role specifically allowing a User to run duplicate detection jobs and then manage (resolve via Merge or Deactivate) the duplicates. Is there an Entity that governs whether 1) a User can create New duplicate detection job and 2) manage the results as describe.

I see the Entity Duplicate Detection Rule in the Security Role module. But that is associated with a Rule not a Job (although you need a Published Rule to create a duplicate Job.

Is it a CRM 4.0 or a CRM 2011? Do you have any error message?

You can perform the desired actions using a CRM Admin along with the CRM Platform Tracing on. Afterwards, look for the missing privileges using the trace files and match the privilegeids with the ones from the privilegebase. This links explains how to find out the privileges:

I think what he wanted to say is that there is no Security Role permission to explicitly give or take permission to create Duplicate Detection Jobs,

I have the same problem now in 2015 i dont want the users to be able to create scheduled jobs for duplicate detection. Is this even possible ? feature ?

I believe it is just the Merge privilege under Miscellaneous Privileges on the Business Management tab that you need. I don't think you can separate the ability to create a job from the ability to merge records.
