Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.UPR10207'

Hello,

Good afternoon. I have two customers that receive the above error when Building Payroll checks in GP 2010.

The build of the checks proceeds normally and the calculation process works just fine. The paychecks that print for the employees are OK and everything posts succesfully.

I cannot find this issue on PartnerSource. I have recreated the table and verified that there are no records stuck in the tables from previous check runs. I have also removed temporary files on the user's workstations but nothing works.

Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

David

Thanks David. It turned out a worker's code was missing, so we updated that value. Then, had to clear out the payroll work tables and run Check Links to recreate unposted batches. The issue was cleared from there.

    Thanks for your help.

    Catherine,

It has been awhile but on one of my customers, I determined by looking at the UPR10207 table that one of the Local Tax Records did not have a correct value in their Filing Status. After fixing the one employee that had this issue the problem does not occur again.

Since the UPR10203 table is for Pay Codes, I would assume that maybe there is a problem with one of the Pay Code records in the UPR00400 table. In our case, the error message that we got would discuss the Employee ID with the error.

I hope that this might help.

    David

    Hi David,

Working with a customer with a similar issue except with table 10203. What ended up being your resolution. Thank you.
