If I go to 365 administration center I find these two, but not find what it will be the difference :

  • Dynamics 365 for Marketing
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Marketing, Business edition

Any light on this?

tks

Luiz

Check out the following article which should shed some light on it.

    community.dynamics.com/.../introducing-dynamics-365-for-marketing-as-part-of-the-dynamics-365-business-edition-release

Dynamics 365 for Marketing is currently in preview, and is available as a 90 day trial if you are interested.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Luiz,

One (365 for Marketing) is an "external" app with an proper URL and interface. The other (365 for Marketing, Business edition) is an "internal" solution that  extends the "CRM marketing menu" with extra features. Is that it?

But I still figuring out the features comparison.

    Thanks

You are correct dynamics CRM introduce some additional extended marketing features in new release which terms as Marketing busineas edition.

    That is correct Luiz,

The other thing to note is the 365 for Marketing uses Adobe Marketing Cloud, which is hosted on Azure.

This is the enterprise solution for D365 marketing. You can see more info here:

    www.microsoft.com/.../marketing

    Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, the "naming convention" is not the best.

Your information helped, but sorry to insist, I did not find yet features that would help to choose one or another:

    Marketing App               Marketing Business Edition

    ---------------------------------------------------

    External app                   Internal solution

Runs on azure                Runs over Dynamics

    Powered by Adobe        Microsoft

    Features--

    Customer Journey         Customer Journey

    Landing Pages               Landing Pages

    Web forms                     Web forms

    Customer scoring          Customer scoring

    Segments                       Segments

    ???                                  ???

Reading the material you sent, I understand that, commercially speaking, the solution (Mark Bus Ed) will be included in (Dynamics Enterprise Edition) and the app will be a product to be contracted.

    tks
