Convert the word Document to PDF in custom workflow activity or plugin

Hi All;

i have a word document attach to an entity i want to pick that word document and convert it to pdf and then create and email and attach with it 

i am struggling in the part of creating word document from attachment to convert it into pdf.

is there anyone who has ever convert word document attachment to pdf through code in mscrm whether through plugin or custom workflow activity .

Note : i do not want to use the third party expensive dll's to achieve this

    Hi Anwar,

    You pretty much have to use a 3rd party dll for this, but you can find them free. Check out the results: www.google.com

    The only limitation is you need to make sure that it doesn't require a full trust environment. CRM Online is partial trust for security reasons so you can't use all the same dll's you may use on a desktop.

    You can use iTextSharp dll for generating PDF and then use ILMerge for assembly registration.

    I am trying same now. 
    In Crm on premise I need to convert word template to PDF.
