CRM Icon missing from Outlook navigation pane

The CRM icon is missing from Outlook. The connection to CRM has not been lost but the icon that was under Mail, Calendar, contacts etc. is missing. The add-in is enabled.

I have tried the various answers that Google throws up but I have not manged to fix yet.

Someone surely must have encountered this before?

What is the fix?

On Left bottom of outlook, Click on down arrow as shown in below images then Navigation Pane Options and check if Solutions tab is checked or not. If its unchecked then check the box and you can see the CRM tab in outlook.

I've got the same problem. it doesn't get restored by the method mentioned - the solutions tickbox is not present in the nav pane options. If I do a system restore the icon comes back but after another reboot it's gone again. Sound familiar to anyone?

Right click on the elipses (...) and choose navigation Options. Click solutions and move up to a position within the number of visible items. Alternatively increase the value of visible items to be able to include the solutions position. make sure compact navigation is unticked. Kind regards,

Ken - The Solutions option is NOT in the list and cannot be moved up or down. It is not there. I have the same issue

I have faced this issue. Issue was fixed by uninstalling Outlook and re-installing it.

Check the addons, it may be disabled as mine was for taking 3.3 sec to start...

We had this issue. To resolve, removed the removed the MSCRM folder from %localappdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM for the affected user.

Restart outlook, and it recreates the profile settings from the server.

First, Quit your Outlook session. Then, using Configuration Wizard re-Synchronize your current CRM Organization. Restart Outlook. Hope it works for you.
