Hi
Is it possible that in one environment creates two companies. But one in USA and one in UK? I mean tried to find what is the difference between USA and UK version but saw only difference in some reports.
What is the disadvantage if this method (instead of creating another environment in UK)? I mean what are the possible issues?
Thanks
Thanks Mr Zhu
As always amazing
Hi, just add another point.
The location of Tenant can be different from that of BC.
Thanks Mohana
Yes, we had a custom who has US/UK environments under the same tenant.

Looks like this may cause some issue then.
Can I create new Production environment (I know it has extra cost) under the same tenant in UK? This way my assumption is that new Production can be created with UK version

In SaaS you can but its limited. You can create a 2nd company in the one tenancy however the companies will have those localisation by default and you cannot change the localisation based on the companies. e.g. if you have a UK tenancy you can only use the UK localisation. learn.microsoft.com/.../about-localization
The only other solution is to create 2 separate tenancies in each region and then use journals to import data into either tenancies.
Read here community.dynamics.com/.../how-to-have-business-central-companies-with-different-localisations
and if you want to deploy on premise versions read here learn.microsoft.com/.../multitenant-deployment-architecture
Hi, as far as I know, there is no way so far.
There is a big limitation here, the local Localization Pack cannot be installed in the environment of other regions. For example, J-Pack, which I was in charge of in Japan, can only be installed in the environment where the Region is JP (The language pack is no longer limited). I discussed this problem with Søren, the person in charge of BC Localization at Microsoft, and Microsoft believes that if the Localization Pack can be installed in other regions, then this app not a local package, but a universal package.
And as you know, Apps in an environment are universal, we cannot install Apps for a certain company. I haven't studied the UK version, but I know that the tax treatment of the USA is very different from the W1 version. So this requires a lot of testing and customization if the local packages are all in one region.

Just share some info, hope this helps.
Thanks.

You can compare the local functionality here:
learn.microsoft.com/.../united-kingdom-local-functionality
learn.microsoft.com/.../united-states-local-functionality
Then you can decide if any of these differences will interfere with the business you run in the two countries.
If there are no conflicts then you can run two companies located in different countries in the same enviornment.
In was not uncommon earlier to run several countries on the W1 version of Dynamics NAV.
I think, there will be other localization related changes like taxation
