Allow users to enter a value X on a form that will auto-renew a Contract period to + X months every time date is reached?

Hello,

Below I have created a Business Rule that will Auto Extend a Contracts End Date 182 days when the date is reached.

The other requirement I'm having trouble meeting is including a field on the Contract form that will allow users to choose the extension length, rather than it being set to a default value (eg 182 days above) across all Contracts.

Is this at all possible though processes?

Would prefer to not need to use Java.

Hi Jesse,

You can use workflows in wait condition to achieve this by setting extension length. Hence the workflow will trigger once the current date reaches End Date. The workflow will set End Date+Extension in days in End Date field. Another process session will start which will wait until new End Date+extension and then set the date. Make sure that the system creates new process session every time the End Date will be set else it will go in an infinite loop.
