Automatically distribute campaign activities

Hi,

I need to create a marketing campaign that  will automatically send emails to marketing lists in a specified date. I don't know if it is possible to do that only by customization and configuration.

I began by creating the campaign and 12 campaign activities. I need that these activities will be automatically distributed later. Each 3 weeks, only one activity is distributed. Only validated emails should be sent.

It is possible to do that with customization please ? If no, How can I do that with development?

Thank you,

Mounir

I have done such automation in past . You will need to automate it using code.

    Refer this: msdn.microsoft.com/.../microsoft.crm.sdk.messages.distributecampaignactivityrequest(v=crm.6).aspx

Thank you Mr Deepesh Somani .

The problem is "how to run automatically the process, the workflow that distributes the campaign activity". I need something like "scheduling tasks" in windows.

How can I schedule that please ?

Marketing Pilot's visual campaign designer and nurture campaigns would likely give you what you need (and a lot of additional flexibility for the future).  Campaign Automation includes the following for CRM 2013:  Drag & drop designer for building out campaign automations.   Includes branching logic, wait timers, triggers and copy and paste editing capability.    Similar to building workflows in CRM but a much simpler experience.

Have a look at Gareth's blog on this:  http://garethtuckercrm.com/

    For a demo (I think it's of MDM in CRM 2015):  crmtestdrive.dynamics.com/.../marketing;=Start+TestDrive

    Alternatively:

There is a way to leverage OOTB bulk deletion activities to trigger workflows to trigger regular workflows.

    *  The bulk deletion job can be set to e.g. daily.  See Tip #346 in http://crmtipoftheday.com/ and used to trigger other activities.

    *  And you'll also need Gus's blog on the topic blogs.msdn.com/.../scheduling-recurring-workflows-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2011-online-and-on-premise.aspx

Alternatively you could code a scheduled job.

Definitely consider Marketing Pilot, or if you're upgrading to 2015 anytime soon MDM (Microsoft Dynamics Marketing) has even tighter and more intuitive integration with Dynamics CRM.

You can also use MailChimp and create an automated Campaign to schedule what you need. These automated campaigns are basically drip campaigns.

Please Mark as Verified if you get to solve this using this.

    Thanks
