Company and Database -- One to One Relationship?

Hi:

In Business Central, is it always true that there is a one to one relationship between a company and a database?

Does every company reside in one and only one database?

Or, can multiple companies reside in the same database?

Hi, one company can only exist in one database, and there can be multiple companies in one database.
The main relationships are shown in the figure below. More details: https://yzhums.com/3911/

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Zhu's chart is fantastic.  It shows that you CAN have multiple Companies within a single Database.
