I was playing with the e-mail setup within BC. This is in a test environment, and tested both the "Microsoft 365" and "Current User" account type. In both instances I could generate a test e-mail, but if I used the "Send To" option on a Sales Invoice it just exports the file.

Is there a trick to get the "Send To" function to generate an e-mail? Please advise. Thank you.

Hi JG,

You need to customize the action button on the page where you want the change, such as the Customer or Vendor page. However, this can be achieved with a small tweak by a developer.

Appreciate all the responses. Seems like it works for the main invoice, however what I was trying to send was the draft and pro-forma invoices. Any tricks or tips to make those available via e-mail too?
