i want to create a test company in GP do i have to update in client machine also if yes can any one guide me the steps to create a company in server and how to run the utility on client machine

I will suggest to follow Jivtesh recommendation : "KB872370" and don't forget to name your company with word '<TEST>'

like "My Test Company <TEST>".

Hello ...
Three steps to make it easy :
Create a new blank company .
Take a backup from the real one.
Restore it on the new company you created in (1)
