1,108I have a client in the process of implementing inventory, POP and SOP on GP 2016. They would like to use a standard cost but also have landed costs.
From what I've read and through testing if they use FIFO Periodic (standard), they can achieve their standard cost, however any landed costs do not get apportioned onto inventory. If they use FIFO Perpetual, cost layers are created and the landed costs are apportioned accordingly.
Is there a way to implement both FIFO Periodic and still have the benefit of apportioning landed cost? Please advise. Look forward to a reply.
