GP2016 Reprint Pay Statement Pay Period End Date

Hi,

When printing the Reprint Pay Statement, the Pay Period End date on GP2016 appears to pull the same date as the Pay Period Start field. How can we get the Pay Period End date?

Thanks,

Linda

Hello Linda!  That looks like a modified version of the report.  Did something get changed incorrectly for the Pay Period End date whenever they modified the report?

    Hi Deseree,

The client is printing an in-modified version. I also printed an in-modified version on my Fabrikam company - same result. The report in the screenshot above is my test of pulling the start and end dates into the report - not just relying on the fields in the header.

    Have you seen this before?

    Thanks,

    Linda

    Hello Linda,

Did a little more digging and found this is an issue in GP2016 but has been resolved in GP2018, latest and greatest.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you Linda!

    Hi Deseree,

So the issue appears to not be partially resolved on GP 2018.    :)

Upgrading from GP 2013R2 to GP 2018, I notice in 2013 we don't have the columns PayPeriodBeginDate and PayPeriodEndDate in UPR30100.

However, after upgrading, it looks like what the upgrade routine does is populates those columns with the same date for both begin and end, which appears to be the date the check run was done rather then the pay period start and end date.

It looks like on a NEW pay run the dates are populated correctly and the reprint pay stub report prints the correct dates.

So, the question is, can we expect this to be fixed in the future, or should we expect all historical pay stubs to have the wrong dates on those two columns?

    Thank you for your help!
