Changed windows live id email - old address still sending emails from crm

Hi, a user in our company changed email address, so rather then setting them up as a new user I changed their Windows Live ID and therefore their email address. It seemed to all work correctly, however when I click into the user's details when I first open up the page it still shows the old id, but after a second or so it corrects itself and shows the new (correct emails id). This wasn't aproblem initially just something I noticed. However now I've realised that any emails that are sent through the CRM are being sent from the old email address (old id) rather then the new one.

Can anyone help? I obviously want to remove the old id/email. Many thanks.

    Victoria,

Each and Every User has a Windows Live ID to Log into CRM and An Approved primary Email ID.

it could be same or Different Email ID(WLID , Primary email ID).

The Emails send from Users CRM Account will be sent from Users Primary Email ID(Approved by CRM Administrator).

Setting--> Administration--> Users--> Open Users --> Give Primary Email ID as "new email Id"

--> save the Form ---> Press "Approve Email" button in "User" Tab in Ribbon Section of the User Record --> save and Close.

Hi, I have done that and the correct email is in the primary email and id, however whenever i first open the user details the old emails still show for the id and primary email - just for a second, then the correct emails come up. It's like the old id hasn't actually been removed and it forgets the changes for a second then it sorts itself out. So the problems is still there.

Did you try saving the User form before "Approving the Primary Email ID" and Save Again.

If this Doesn't Work. May be you should raise a Token to MS Support.

I managed to sort this problem out by talking to Micrsoft Support. It ended up being a problem with the Outlook settings as opposed the CRM settings.
