    Ross:

Are you using Integration Manager?  Integration Manager has exception reporting, which would probably tell you the reason.

    Hi Todd,

The challenge was that there were no errors given. ... no truncation, no this or that so it was hard to get a grasp on the problem.

It turned out to be a recordset issue. The Main Vendor informatoin came from the import file but the Address would not populate. On the options tab for Address Detail there is a flag for alternate recordset. I set the source file/query as the alternate recordset for the Address information. It worked.

    Thanks.

Where is the options tab for address detail located?  I have the same problem.  Thanks.

    Billy:

If you're inquiring about Integration Manager, it's actually in a pane that most of the time gets hidden unless you either pull it down or maximize the window when you go into Destination Mapping.  The pane I'm speaking of is located in the upper left-hand corner just above the Name and Value columns.  There are additional details located under the pane that has the Name and Value columns, which you can easily see if you maximize the entire Integration Mapping window.

At that point there is an Options selection below the Addresses folder, as well as an Options tab in the right-hand pane under the Fields tab.

I hope that helps you out.

Does it work on importing customer addresses?  I tried but the IM only creates the customer account without the address.  Do you know how to do that?  Thanks

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Integration Vendor Address Import ...

If you're filling out the information in the Addresses area within IM, then I'm not sure what the issue is.  I can say that I have experienced what you're indicating and was unsuccessful at finding a resolution.

To be honest, I go Old School on Vendor and Customer imports because of that issue.  I use the Table Import functionality within GP itself located at Microsoft Dynamics GP-->Tools-->Integrate-->Table Import.  The only caveat to using that is to make sure you run Check Links afterward: Microsoft Dynamics GP-->Maintenance-->Check Links.

    I hope that helps! :^)
