When report is created, in the old system, we can assign the object ID to the new report in the object designer. How about the Business Central 365? How to assign the new object ID?
Thank you!
This explains the new rules well: demiliani.com/.../
Worth considering that if your MS partner has deployed any extensions you cannot clash with their object ids
ID range 50.000-99.999: per tenant/customer customizations (no AppSource).
You can create a new report by using the snippet treport in your VS code and use the ID range.
One more question: How to quickly filter the Report ID like old system so that we know which ID has been used and which one has not from 50000?
Quickest way would be with the report layout selection page. You can place a filter here for something like 50000..999999
So we have to note down the object ID or have to open each report layout to check the object ID then.
